Comfortable boot

This has been a great boot. Good fitting, comfortable and allows for great range of motion.

Favorite boot

The boots arrived sooner than expected. (A very good thing since my old ones were finally shot.) The padding underneath the metatarsal guard adds a lot to the comfort of these boots. My last pair of these held up for quite a few years. I wish my employer would let me use the boot allowance for every year these boots last :)

Hurts your the bone in your ankles

The tounge of the boot digs into your ankle where the tounge attacks on the inside of the boot

Decent Boot Left Me Disappointed

The overall quality seems pretty good. I was surprised to see it was made in Vietnam. The main reason I buy Carolina boots is because of the build quality of being made in the USA, like my previous pairs.

Shoe laces are a bit junky, compared to the real leather my previous boots had. Constantly coming untied.

Excellent Boots for a Plasma or Oxyfuel Operator

I am on my 3rd pair of these boots now and buy a pair every year. I am an Oxyfuel/Plasma table operator and all of our tables are water tables so being waterproof, and having a nice, chunky external metatarsal is key, and Vibram soles for walking around on 2000 degree plate steel without setting my soles on fire...and these boots tick all those bo...Read More

xes for me, while being comfortable enough to wear for 12 hours straight, and with no real break in period. My feet stay dry, comfortable, and most importantly, protected. I'm not too out off by the boots being made in Vietnam either, I've had these boots last me longer than Made in the USA boots from other companies. With some goods I just don't find that the geographical location where they're made doesn't impact performance one bit. It's hard to make boots in the US and not charge 400 bucks for them, so if these do as good of a job or better, keep making them in Vietnam for all I care... Read Less
