Rough very repetitive climbing & walking. I’ve wore these babies 6-7 years and why I’m getting a new pair is simply because were the sole over time is starting to split down the middle & theres no fixing that but 10/10 highly recommended. Great for any kidnve work desired. Hope this helps #Treeworker #TreeTrimmee

I'm a carpenter and have had a hard time keeping boots around for longer than a few months. Frequent snowy, muddy, or wet conditions, lots of up and down ladders, and working on my knees has delaminated many a pair of boots that sold themselves as work rated. After about a year and a half, these are holding strong. The leather over the steel toe has worn through, and they're therefore leaking, but its nothing that cant be mended. I think I'd have a hard time finding a better pair of boots for the price.

This is the best darn boot that I have ever purchased for the money. I got them from Northern Tool. They passed the squat test perfectly. If it was up to me I would recommend the CA9821 to anyone that requires a great boot to last for the rigorous work that any logger or lumberjack does. I consider them to be the most comfortable boot that I have ever worn. Very reliable product and the workmanship put into the boot proves it.

Best pair of boots I've ever worn, daily for four years straight in all conditions, minimum of care. I picked up 11D locally, even though I wear 10.5D. The toe box is perfect and the rest of the boot is just a tad loose. Snugging down the laces and wearing thick socks helps. The one-piece rubber sole is finally starting to wear out, so I'll replace these with model CA1821, probably 10.5D. The only issues are that these boots are cheaper than a resole, and perhaps not the most comfortable for standing all day. Otherwise, absolutely phenomenal.

These boots are very comfortable, they're my first pair of Carolinas. I like them a lot, they are pretty lightweight and have good support when wearing spurs all day. I've had mine for a year and a half now and they're starting to fall apart a bit which I'm bit surprised about but I am pretty hard on my boots. The rivets at the top of the shoes have loosened up now so my laces will randomly come undone and the stitching around the sole is starting to come apart. I might buy another pair of them or have them repaired. I would definitely buy them again despite them starting to come apart on me. I really like these boots and have been very happy with them!

I bought these at Northern Tool, same number, but don't know if they might be a "special." Pretty comfy. I wear 12EE according to a fancy boot store, and a higher dollar brand, but 13D worked fine for these. Nice construction, and pretty comfy, but I do wish that they had a removable insole since I sometimes deal with plantar fascitis, and I didn't notice when I bought them that it wasn't, so a removable makes the things way too tight, especially in the toe.. Other than that, pretty happy.

I just retired from 36 years of maintenance work in a power generation station. I've worn this style of Carolina boot for 35 of the 36 years - tried other brands; didn't last. This is the most comfortable, durable, and safe boot for tough industrial environments. I especially liked the waterproof lining, a definite improvement from the older versions. Thanks for a great boot!

I bought these boots after recovering from a nasty lawn mower accident where I completely snapped and crushed two toes. I bought these and I thought they were a great looking boot, very comfortable. So far they have been completely dry in completely wet environments and are not too bulky. They don’t get in the way of things. I have been completely satisfied. Great make!!

I felt this product's fit was: a half size smaller

I felt this product's width was: narrow

I have an opposing opinion to the last review. I felt the overall length was off as well as width. Normally wear a 10-10,5, with these I need a 9-9.5. The width is smaller than marked. Normally wear E in boots and I feel I damn near need a 3E or 4, otherwise the area near the ball and opposing side wear out prematurely (I.E. boots that should last AT LEAST a year even without proper care barely make it 8 months. With proper care they'll make it a couple years).

Very comfortable boots, one thing that I was not at all satisfied with was the steel toe, for the price the whole foot area should have been covered instead of just the toe.
