I am a Welder. Currently I work as a Railcar Repairman for a Tank Car Company. Ihave owned 5 pairs of Carolina Boots since 2011. 2 composite toes, 1 steel toe, 1 metatarsal, and now these. The last pair I owned were the CA3630 metatarsals. They were ok. The metatarsal or toe was exposed after 8 months of hard railroad labor. Crawling, crouching, and Welding under traincar. I expect these to be superior because of the material. I went over them thoroughly and they are well constructed.
