Opanka Construction: A patented, durable hand crafted construction method in which the upper is attached to the outsole and sock lining with a heavy wax thread. This yields extremely flexible footwear.

Nytek®: A leather alternative that offers advantages leather cannot match. It uses high performance nylon fibers that look like leather in every way, but are three times stronger with better abrasion resistance.

Gel Cell™: A non-memory polymer gel that adds comfort by reducing heel strike and added value by eliminating the need for additional comfort inserts.

Steel Toe: Footwear that meets or exceeds the ASTM Standards for compression and impact testing rating of I-75/C-75.

Aluminum Toe: Weighs less than steel and meets the ASTM standards for compression and impact testing rating of I-75/C-75.

Waterproof: Footwear tested to withstand the wettest conditions.

Made in USA: Footwear manufactured in our Martinsburg, PA facility.

Electrical Hazard: Footwear tested by an independent lab that can withstand applications of 14,400 volts at 60hz for one minute without leakage.

Composite/Polymer Toe: A Non Metallic Safety Toe for enviroments where steel is not appropriate.

Internal MetGuard: Provides flexible protection and increased comfort. Some of our footwear is also available with an external MetGuard.

Slip Resisting: Soles designed and constructed with materials to provide maximum resistance on slippery conditions.

Insulated: Footwear that provides varying levels of protection against the cold depending on the about of insulating fabric used.

ESD: Electrostatic Dissipative footwear absorbs and neutralizes loose electrons, sending charges into the floor.
